In recent years, rapid urbanization coupled with higher disposable incomes and comfort needs have led to a sharp expansion of the urban building floor area and rise in space cooling demand. Shakti is supporting a sustainable smart space cooling coalition of civil society organizations. The coalition with its diverse expertise on space cooling is going to come out with policy recommendations on key space cooling elements in buildings design & cooling technology, codes & standards, and market transformation.
