The Bureau of Energy Efficiency’s Super Efficient Equipment Programme (SEEP) aims to bring about market transformation towards super efficient appliances through targeted supply chain interventions such as appropriate incentive programmes. This study by ICF International assesses the techno-economic feasibility and the incremental costs on achieving super efficiency in refrigerators in India. It includes a detailed market and technology assessment of the Indian refrigerator industry.
