The India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) organised ‘India Smart Utility Week (ISUW)’ where Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation participated in the session on ‘Evolving Trends in Electric Mobility and MW-Scale Charging Systems’ on March 15, 2024, in New Delhi.
Narayankumar Sreekumar, Associate Director, Electric Mobility, Shakti, spoke in a session on ‘Evolving Trends in Electric Mobility and MW-Scale Charging System,’ “In the dynamic landscape of electric mobility, where the only constant changes, fostering innovations and making strategic investments in technology are imperative. However, such advancements rely heavily on a resilient regulatory framework. By establishing Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulations, we not only pave the way for transformative change but also create opportunities for self-financing robust charging infrastructure, thus propelling the evolution of MW-scale charging systems.”
The 10th edition of the India Smart Utility Week (ISUW) was poised to take place from 12th to 16th March 2024 in New Delhi, India, marking a significant milestone in the realm of smart energy and smart mobility. Renowned as an International Conference and Exhibition, ISUW 2024 promised to be a dynamic platform encompassing a diverse array of events and engagements. Participants could look forward to engaging plenaries, insightful bilateral workshops, thought-provoking keynotes, and technical sessions offering deep dives into cutting-edge topics.
The event also featured technical paper presentations, tutorials, and enriching technical tours, providing attendees with invaluable learning and networking opportunities. Notably, ISUW 2024 aimed to foster international collaboration with bilateral Smart Grid Workshops planned with the European Union, United States, Brazil, and Germany, highlighting the global significance of advancements in smart energy and mobility technologies. Through this comprehensive program, ISUW 2024 endeavoured to catalyse innovation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and drive progress toward a smarter and more sustainable future.
