Forth Mobility organised their Roadmap Conference on May 15 – 17, 2023, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. This Mobility Roadmap Conference is an annual electric transportation event where leaders convene to bring about transformation in the movement of people and goods. The conference brings industry and community leaders together in a highly interactive format to network, forge partnerships, deepen relationships, explore emerging trends, share best practices, and build the road ahead.
Priti Shukla, Programme Manager, Electric Mobility, Shakti, was invited to be a part of the panel discussion on ‘Electrification in the Global South’ where she shared strategies, success stories and lessons learned in advancing electric transportation with a focus on policy, business leadership, and growing coalitions. She said, “Philanthropy as a community needs to unlock four levers in order to maximise its potential and enable it to make a greater impact – Ambition, Action, Accountability and Advocacy. By actively pursuing these levers and collaborating across regions, we can ensure greatest possible impact on the EV ecosystem.”
Priti also shared the Delhi’s EV story, a story of many firsts in the country including the recent Delhi motor vehicle aggregator scheme. In terms of Businesses, how BluSmart is on a high-voltage ride and many start-ups are embracing an all-electric future! She also spoke about how campaigns like Shoonya are accelerating the adoption of EVs in the urban deliveries segment and are creating consumer awareness about the benefits of zero-pollution delivery!
