On March 23, 2023, Shakti signed an LOI with NIUA to collaborate and establish a Climate Focused Project Preparation and Bid Process Management Facility to support cities. The objective of this initiative is to enable cities to conceive and successfully execute climate-focused projects that mitigate GHG emissions and therein overcome challenges to sustainable urbanisation. This facility would support cities through the entire process from conceptualising climate-friendly projects to the successful bidding of these projects.
