About Electric Mobility Programme
Electric mobility represents an important opportunity for the country to transition to a low carbon transportation paradigm, and at the same time reduce fuel imports, improve air quality, and create the base for new manufacturing and employment capacity. The goal of Shakti’s EM Programme is to support India’s ambition of transportation electrification, while maximizing the climate and development co-benefits.

We are looking for an individual with commitment, passion and drive to be part of the team and larger ecosystem that is helping to make the electrification of India’s transportation system a reality. Responsibilities
- Research and literature review
- Evaluation concept notes
- Be abreast with policy landscape
- Prepare presentation for stakeholders
- Writing skills (Report writing, op-eds, blogs, research papers, etc.)
- Maintain team data base – stakeholders, projects, funding agencies, etc.
- Help program team in outreach and communication
- Assist in event planning and management
- Engage with relevant stakeholders
Required qualification, experience and competencies
- Masters Degree in Transportation, Archtecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Economics or other relevant field.
- Climate Optimist with a ‘Can do’ spirit.
- Demonstrated excellence in written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Good teamwork and collaborating skills
- Drive, Commitment and Ownership for the delegated responsibilities
