Electric Mobility Initiative Workshop

Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation is hosting the third annual convening of the Electric Mobility Initiative from April 12-13, 2022. The two-day workshop will bring together key EMI partners to discuss the barriers facing the uptake of EVs in the country and identify pathways for faster penetration. The convening will kick off with a panel discussion featuring:
- Shri Sudhendu Sinha, Adviser for Infrastructure Connectivity–Transport and Electric Mobility, NITI AAYOG
- Shri Sajid Mubashir, Scientist at the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India
- Ms. Mahua Acharya, Managing Director and CEO of Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL)
- Dr. OP Aggarwal, CEO, WRI India
- Mr. Mahesh Babu, CEO, Switch Mobility
The panel discussion will be followed by break out sessions held over two days on the following themes:
- Strategies: Manufacturing, Charging infrastructure, Adoption and Awareness
- Critical Needs and Gaps: Capacity Building
- Accelerating the Ecosystem for e-HDVs and ZETs
- National and Sub-national Action
- Geographies
